Most companies discover a breach weeks or months after it happened. Do you know where yours stands?
Managed productivity

Microsoft 365, operated by Lynxsource

Microsoft 365 is where your team works every day — mail, files, identity — and that is why it is also where they are attacked most. We operate your Microsoft 365 as a managed service so your people work on an environment that is properly configured, governed, and secure, not on licenses nobody administers.

We do not activate the licenses and leave. We configure the policies, secure mail and identity, govern access, and answer when something breaks. You get productivity that works and is protected, with one party responsible.

The definition

What is managed Microsoft 365?

It means Lynxsource configures, governs, and secures your Microsoft 365 mail, files, and identity for you, and answers when something breaks, instead of activating the licenses and leaving you the admin center.

Microsoft 365 switches on with the licenses, and from there everything that matters is a decision nobody made. Which external mail comes in and which gets retained, who can share a file outside, what happens to the account of someone who leaves, whether the second factor is mandatory or a recommendation. Without those decisions the environment works just the same — and that is precisely the problem.

A managed service changes what you are buying. Instead of the licenses, you hire whoever makes those decisions with you, applies them as policies, revisits them when the company changes, and is on the other end the day an important email does not arrive. The tenant stays yours; what changes is that somebody is answerable for how it is configured.

The scope

What do we operate in Microsoft 365?

Mail and collaboration, identity and access, the security of the environment, and its governance, with in-house support behind it.

These are not four separate services but one environment seen through the way in. Almost everything that goes wrong in Microsoft 365 starts in mail or in identity: a message that fools someone, a reused password, a sharing permission left open. That is why those two pieces govern the other two.

Mail and collaboration

The mail, files, and sites your people work in, with the retention and sharing policies your company needs.

Identity and access

Who gets in, from where, with which second factor, and what happens to the account of someone who leaves.

Environment security

Protecting mail against deception and access against misuse, which is how almost everything gets in.

Governance and support

Policies revisited when the company changes, and day-to-day support when something stops working.

The decision

Why managed rather than just buying the licenses?

Because the license is identical however you buy it; what decides the outcome is how the environment ends up configured, and the default configuration was not designed for your company.

A freshly activated Microsoft 365 arrives with factory judgment: permissive where your company would need to close things down and strict where it would need to open them up. It works from minute one, which is what keeps anybody from reviewing it. Mail arrives, files get shared, people work — and the missing decisions do not show until one of them is needed.

Nor does that work close. People join, people leave, a department opens, someone asks to share with a customer, a retention obligation changes. As a managed service that has an owner and a calendar, and your IT team does not have to choose between attending the admin center and attending the business.

The operation

How do we run your Microsoft 365?

By leaving the environment configured with policies fitted to your operation, protecting mail and identity, and sustaining it with in-house support as the company changes.

Configuration comes first and is decided with you, not by default: what is retained and for how long, who can share outside, how people sign in and with which second factor, what happens to an account when someone leaves. That is applied as environment policy, which is what makes it hold without depending on each person remembering.

On top of that sit mail and identity protection — which is how almost everything gets in — and day-to-day governance: adds and removes, surplus permissions, reviews when the company changes. If you also want that environment MONITORED continuously from an operations center, that is a different service with its own page: managed security across the Microsoft stack. And when something stops working our own team answers, not a generic queue.

The coverage

Which countries does Lynxsource operate in?

With in-house teams in Ecuador, Colombia, and Bolivia, and also in the United States and Canada.

In-house means the analysts, the automation, and the operations center belong to Lynxsource. In a reseller model your provider opens a ticket with another provider and passes the answer along when it arrives; here whoever answers is whoever decides.

The service is the same in all five countries, with the same SOC behind it and the same triage and response figures. What changes is who you have nearby, not the quality of the monitoring.

Questions about this service

Frequently asked questions

What does operating Microsoft 365 include?

Configuring the environment with policies fitted to your company, protecting mail and identity, governing access and sharing, and providing day-to-day support. The license stays yours; what you are buying is who answers for how it is set up.

Do you secure mail against phishing?

Yes. It is the path most attacks come through, so mail protection is part of the service: filtering what arrives, policies against impersonation, and review of whatever slips past.

Do you govern identity and access?

Yes: who gets in, from where, with which second factor, and what happens to the account of someone who leaves. It is the piece that keeps a leaked password from becoming an incident.

Can Microsoft 365 content be backed up?

Yes, and it is worth doing: the provider guarantees the service is available, not that your data returns after a deletion or an encryption. That backup is a separate service and we operate it too.

Who provides day-to-day support?

Our team, with our own people in five countries. There is no third party to pass the ticket to, so whoever answers is the one who can resolve it.

Which licenses do I need?

It depends on what each profile uses: not everyone needs the same thing, and security and compliance capabilities are licensed separately from productivity. We review it against your case before moving anything, so you do not pay for what nobody will use.
